Another Year at the Farmhouse

As 2015 winds down we are blown away as we sit back and reminisce on what an amazing year it has been, both here at the Urban Farmhouse and throughout the city of Richmond as well!

Over the past year we have opened two fantastic locations, one in Scott’s Addition and another on Broad St. right by VCU. We have been thrilled to become a part of, and engage these wonderful communities here in Richmond. We truly love being a part of this city and the unique communities it has to offer. From getting the chance to participate in the Scott’s Addition Pumpkin Festival to watching VCU students study for their last finals before graduation. Richmond as a whole has seen a great year as well; our secret river city has now been thrown onto the international stage after hosting the UCI World Road Cycling Competitions! We saw everything from the fourth round of the Richmond Mural Project, to the signing of Stone Brewing Co., to the first annual Cider Festival, and we can’t forget about the Japanese Tattoo exhibit at the VMFA.

When looking back at such a fantastic year as this, one cannot help becoming anxious to see what next year has in store for us here at the Urban Farmhouse, and for the city of Richmond as a whole! Here at the Farmhouse we can at least attest to a few things that will be coming in the near future. We will be opening up our new location in Manchester at 1200 Semmes Ave. We will be introducing omelet stations at several of our locations – to be used during our brunch hours, and we will be continuing our dedicated efforts of offering Richmond a healthy and fresh choice for their dining needs.

We look forward to seeing what exciting new things that 2016 brings to us here in Richmond!
