Home Grown Music

By

We’re sure many of you are aware of our commitment to local, organic, and sustainable, but we’re also up to our hummus in Home Grown Music!

Richmond is very cyclical and we’ve had some highs and lows in live music.  We helped launch Dave, we’re basically home to Cracker, and we lent GWAR to Beavis and Butthead.  You don’t need a huge name or a big venue to enjoy some live music, though!

Several evenings a week and every Sunday Brunch we offer an eclectic mix of local musicians for your entertainment.

Recently at the Farmhouse we’ve enjoyed the Flamenco stylings of Suenos Gitanos, the jazzy tones of Eric Godsey, the indie/acoustic antics of The Luckies, and the atypical-dark liquid-acoustic menace of Strummer.

Like the sound of a plucked guitar?  Come on by.  Like a little keyboard?  Got it.  Need the thump of a drum?  Yup.  A little song craft?  Our door (and weather permitting our windows!) is open.

So stop by, have a listen.  If you’re a musician then talk to us about playing!  Just keep your ears open and your stomach hungry and come enjoy The Urban Farmhouse!
