I THINK I CAN – I THOUGHT I COULD!

These lines from a famous tale are an oft repeated mantra for many small businesses like the urban Farmhouse in these upside down times. We are proud to say we are still operating many months following the start of the pandemic. We closed in March and then slowly reopened in June and July. We decided we needed to close our café in Scott’s Addition, a wonderful bustling neighborhood where we were glad to be a part of its growth. We have thanked our customers for their patience while we adjusted our hours of operation and readjusted our seating. We’ve even had to adapt our menu a bit to reflect our new hours of operation and Online Ordering. BUT we are still offering fresh, delicious seasonal fare, using clean, all-natural ingredients and supporting local! And when we say open, we mean literally – keeping our windows and doors open to allow in sunlight and fresh air – wonderfully abundant and free! Our Holiday Menu starts next week with lots of your holiday favorites. We know our awesome Farmhands will be waiting to welcome you!

As a plug for our long time friend and neighbor, check out the Fountain Bookstore in Shockoe Slip to order one of the many book versions of this famous story about perseverance and believing in yourself.
